MITCH BABCOCK, PT, DPT, CF-L3

Mitch has been practicing physical therapy since 2016 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University. He has been coaching CrossFit since 2016 and splits his time between coaching and physical therapy practice. Mitch has pursued CrossFit specialties in aerobic capacity training, Olympic weightlifting, and CrossFit Kids.

MORGAN DENNY, PT, DPT

Morgan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. She has focused her work in outpatient orthopedic settings, addressing conditions and people of all sorts. Morgan believes that health is a very small word that encompasses a very large idea and she strives to address as many aspects as possible.

ALEX GERMANO, PT, DPT, GCS, Cert-MMOA, CF-L2

Alex is a Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient home visits and a history of coaching fitness since 2010. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from Northwestern University. Alex is a board certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) and has an additional certification in vestibular rehabilitation. Her practice in bringing exercise-forward interventions to patients is inspired by her participation in CrossFit.

LINDSEY HUGHEY, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Lindsey graduated from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with her bachelor’s in health science and doctorate in physical therapy (2010) and a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College. Since graduation, she has worked with orthopedic populations in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Dr. Hughey is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). She received her fellowship training through Evidence in Motion (2016).

BRITT LADEMANN, PT, DPT

Britt is an orthopedic physical therapist currently practicing in Portland OR who has a passion for empowering clinicians, athletes, and patients to achieve goals and unlock potential. She began her athletic career with 15 years of competitive soccer and quickly learned the value of having a trusted physical therapist in her corner. She received her undergraduate degrees in Exercise Sport Science and Fine Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she played 4 years of D1 Rugby (Go Heels!). She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem State University. 

JEFF MOORE, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Jeff received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with high honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida. After graduation he completed a rigorous spine and extremity program with Dr. Stanley Paris culminating in his receipt of the Manual Therapy Certification (MTC). He then pursued another post graduate degree, this time from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, which trains clinicians to become experts in performing spinal manipulation. In 2011 Dr. Moore passed comprehensive written, oral, and practical exams which tested his knowledge and skills in spinal thrust manipulation resulting in his being granted the spinal manipulation certification (cert-SMT). In 2012 Dr. Moore became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and in 2014 a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) through Evidence In Motion. Most recently he was awarded the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialization (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the CrossFit Level 1 certification (CF-L1) through CrossFit INC. 

MEGAN PEACH, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Megan specializes in manual treatment of spinal dysfunction, as well as knee and shoulder pain. Megan’s philosophy for physical therapy treatment embraces educating patients about the tools they need for enhancement of proper body movements during work and play to promote a pain and injury free active lifestyle. 

JORDAN BERRY, PT, DPT, CF-L1

Dr. Jordan Berry is a physical therapist and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer located in Charlotte, NC. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Winston Salem State University, as well as his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University. Before moving to Charlotte, he completed Evidence In Motion’s Orthopedic Residency Program.

JUSTIN DUNAWAY, PT, DPT, OCS

Justin received his doctorate in physical therapy from Youngstown State University in 2010. Dr. Dunaway earned his board certification as an orthopedic clinical specialist in 2013. He has also attained certifications in spinal thrust manipulation, extremity thrust manipulation, dry needling and the Therapeutic Pain Specialist designation. Dr. Dunaway has spent his career working in outpatient orthopedics with a focus on patients with spine pain, headaches, and persistent pain. 

MARK GALLANT, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Dr. Mark Gallant is a physical therapist, board-certified orthopedic specialist, Fellow of the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapist, and certified in dry needling in Richmond, VA. Mark received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion in 2012 and Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech in 2008 where he graduated summa cum laude. In 2017, Mark graduated from Evidence in Motion’s Orthopedic Residency program and passed his Orthopedic Specialist Exam. He immediately enrolled in Evidence in Motion’s manual therapy fellowship program which he completed in the fall of 2019.

DUSTIN JONES, PT, DPT, GCS, CF-L1

Dustin is a Coach and Geriatric Physical Therapist with a background in home health, outpatient orthopedics, and fitness. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011 from the University of Kentucky.  Dustin is a board-certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1).

JASON LUNDEN, PT, DPT, SCS

Jason specializes in the rehabilitation and prevention of sports-related injuries, with a particular interest in the biomechanics of sporting activities – running, cycling, skiing, snowboarding and overhead athletics.

ALEXIS MORGAN, PT, DPT

Dr. Alexis Morgan is a physical therapist specializing in treating women’s health and pelvic floor issues. She is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and enjoys helping the female athlete achieve her goals.

CHRISTINA PREVETT, PT, MSCPT, CSCS

Christina graduated with her Masters of Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2013. She is a firm believer in the strength of exercise for rehabilitation, especially with older adults. She began her PhD in 2015 in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University. Her doctoral research looks at the utilization of strength training principles for healthy aging and prevention of disability.

JULIE BRAUER, PT, DPT, Cert-MMOA

Julie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ohio University in 2015 and currently practices in Charlotte, NC. She has spent the past 6 years working both with athletes in a fitness facility as well as hospitalized patients in the Acute Care and Inpatient Rehab settings, with a recent transition to Home Health.

She has a passion for bringing a unique fitness forward approach to her acutely ill older adult patients to move them through the continuum from sickness towards wellness.

ALAN FREDENDALL, PT, DPT, CF-L3
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Alan has been practicing physical therapy since 2017 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Michigan University. He primarily coaches CrossFit, beginning in 2018 while weighing over 400 lbs. and losing over 200 lbs. since then. He has pursued advanced CrossFit specialties in aerobic capacity training and working with adaptive athletes. Alan served in the United States Army Infantry for 8 years including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

JOE HANISKO, PT, DPT, Cert-CMFA

Joe received his doctorate in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University. Joe came to GVSU after completing his bachelor’s degree from Alma College in Integrated Physiology and Health Science.

PAUL KILLOREN, PT, DPT

Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and from Regis University in 2010 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He has been teaching dry needling education for almost 15 years with a history of running his own private clinical practice, instructing for both Hawaii Pacific University & South College, and is the founder of iDryNeedle.

ZACH LONG, PT, DPT, SCS

Dr. Zach is better known as “The Barbell Physio” because of his industry-leading website where he is a trusted resource for hundreds of thousands of athletes and coaches wanting to perform optimally without pain limiting their lifestyle. Dr. Zach is a Board Certified Sports Specialist, Level One CrossFit Trainer, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and certified SFMA practitioner. He graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree before earning his Doctorate at East Carolina University.

ZAC MORGAN, PT, DPT

Dr. Zac Morgan is a physical therapist, board-certified Orthopedic Clinic Specialist, and a CrossFit-L1 trainer. Zac additionally serves as faculty for the Institute of Clinical Excellence, where he travels the country teaching how to better manage neck and back pain.

Rachel received her doctorate in Physical Therapy in August 2017 from the University of Michigan, Flint. She also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish from Cedarville University in Ohio.
