This seminar covers current best evidence in the physical therapist’s management of the most common extremity syndromes seen in a general outpatient orthopedic practice. Lecture material provides participants with the current body of literature surrounding the most effective management strategies using exercise and manual therapy. A special emphasis will be placed on treatment progression and exercise prescription.
We will challenge several traditional philosophies regarding the assessment and treatment of orthopedic conditions and present the most contemporary concepts. The laboratory component will comprise 40% of the seminar with the purpose of enhancing the participant’s joint manipulation and exercise prescription skills.
As with all ICE courses, we strive to maintain a 15:1 student:teacher ratio or better.
