Virginia Renn Shearin graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. Since then she has worked at Youngs Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, seeing a variety of orthopedic and some neurological conditions, with patients ranging in age from 6 to 97 years old. Renn has a passion for the Fitness Forward approach, treating all patients as athletes and getting them to moving better and more than they were before. At Youngs, Renn sees orthopedic conditions from the cervical spine to the foot and ankle, with a specific love of runners and the fitness athlete, particularly related to the spine and the lower extremity.
Renn has taken the following ICE courses: Extremity Management, Management of the Fitness Athlete, Dry Needling, Cervical Management, and ICE Sampler 2022.
When not at work, Renn enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and traveling.
