Dr. Trent Kucera PT, DPT, CSCS, CDN was born and raised in Hutchinson, MN. He realized his passion for exercise and anatomy while at North Park University on the north side of Chicago. He graduated with his Bachelor’s in exercise science. Trent played collegiate basketball and was a captain three out of his four years on the team.
Trent went on to achieve his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. While pursuing his doctorate degree, he also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Trent returned to North Park University to head up the strength and conditioning program for the Men’s basketball team. He finished his doctorate in 2018.
Trent’s interest in physical therapy manifested from an athletic background. However, his love for the profession stems from helping individuals from all types of backgrounds. Trent believes in patient centered care and wants to help change the landscape of health in America. He is certified in dry needling and blood flow restriction training. In 2023, Trent plans to pursue his Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy. He is excited to grow his skillset to further benefit his patients.
