My name is Samantha Chamberlain. I am a Langston DPT graduate. My zeal for physical therapy was discovered after seeing the impact exercise could have on overall health, the great need within my hometown community, and within geriatrics.
I’m a proud military/teacher’s/coach’s wife and a momma to 2 sweet boys, 1 dog, 3 goats, and some chickens from time to time (fox’s like to steal them). We enjoy being outside. We have fun scuba diving and hope to use my love of PT and diving together someday.
Not only do I pursue knowledge on current research and strive to serve all my patients as a whole person providing quality effective fitness forward care, but also teach other therapists with the Institute of Clinical Excellence. I am certified in Modern Management of the Older Adult and use that knowledge across the lifespan, treating patients of all ages and teaching clinicians in all settings.
As a PT, and in general, I provide a positive outlook on situations. My experience with people from a full range of socioeconomic backgrounds, a variety of cultural backgrounds, and from frail to fit allows me to see that at the end of the day movement truly is medicine for all people. It is the one prescription that every body needs. I encourage everyone commit to making an effort towards active healthy behaviors.
