Dr. Mary Kate Geisinger has always loved sports. Growing up, she played soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball. But in her first semester of undergrad, she sustained a shoulder injury. She underwent two surgeries and was in physical therapy on and off for two years. Through this experience, Dr. MK found her passion for physical therapy.
Dr. MK graduated from Stockton University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. She coached travel and varsity softball at her alma mater throughout college. She obtained her Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSC) through the NCSA and became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2021. She is currently working toward her Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete certification through ICE Physio and is interested in becoming a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
In her free time, Dr. MK is an avid sports fan—cheering for the Yankees, Duke Blue Devils, and NY Jets. She spends time with her family and friends and takes early morning classes at CrossFit Arx.
