Maggie Imhoff

I completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Tufts University in Boston, MA in 2022 & completed her undergraduate at Gonzaga in 2016. I worked in a research lab until I realized I wanted to work directly with people, improving their lives. I started at an assisted living facility as a caregiver in 2018 & loved it; prompting me to explore a career in healthcare. After a back injury on the job, I went through physical therapy herself & discovered its effectiveness as medicine through movement.

My background as a caregiver lent interest toward geriatric population & empowering the older population towards independence through optimized functional mobility. I ran cross country & track for Gonzaga, thus has intrinsic familiarity & passion to work with runners. My techniques range from manual therapy, exercises tailored to patients in accordance with the patient’s goals, modalities, and therapeutic activities. Overall the objective is to achieve the patient’s goals for optimal movement & global well-being.

I am a lifelong learner and when I’m not seeing patients, I find inspiration and rejuvenation in spending time outside in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.
