Maddie Tight

Maddie Tight earned her doctorate of physical therapy degree from the University of Montana. During her undergraduate years she was a dual sport athlete, playing soccer and running mid-distance track for Colby College. She was captain for Colby’s soccer team, and received numerous accolades during her four years there. After Colby, she moved back to the Bay Area and embraced ultra running in the hills and trails where she grew up in Marin County, and continues to enjoy gravel biking, downhill skiing, weight lifting, and running.

While studying at the University of Montana, Maddie worked with a team to educate the community on prevention and treatment of running-related bone stress injuries, and has a special interest working with this population. In Marin, Maddie worked at an outpatient sports clinic with athletes of all ages, including elite high school runners and soccer players and professional triathletes. At Agile she is the director of the running assessment program, and a part of Agile’s running team who works to disseminate the latest literature so patients can be certain they are getting up to date care. During her time at Agile, she further refined her craft by becoming a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist.

Maddie has a passion for promoting an active lifestyle through education and empowerment for each patient. It is her goal to provide top-notch care based on the individual, and backed by evidence. She is dedicated and motivated to provide the best care possible, and looks forward to helping individuals reach their highest potential.
