Dr. Fosberg holds two doctorates, is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities, and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. She has practiced in orthopaedic physical therapy and the strength & conditioning arenas since 2004. She specializes in the active adult lifestyle from the weight room to the outdoor enthusiast. Dr. Fosberg’s professional research interests lie within the musculoskeletal and fitness-wellness domains. Research topics that intrigue her range from femoral acetabular impingement, blood flow restriction & its application in strength training, the role of physical therapists in the health & wellness arena in the application of nutrition & exercise as interventions to treat inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis, and how sleep, recovery & stress management affect acute & chronic musculoskeletal diagnoses. She loves empowering women to lift heavy weights to become stronger! Dr. Fosberg plans to continue weight training well into her geriatric years! Outside of the clinic you can find her either enjoying weight lifting, golfing, or hiking. An Arizona native, she truly enjoys the outdoors and high altitude of the San Francisco Peaks hiking with her family and dogs.
