Katie graduated with from Mount Allison University in 2019 with an Honours BSc in Biology. She then went on to complete her MScPT from Western University and graduated in 2021. Since graduating, she has worked in acute care where she gained experience working with a geriatric population. Katie has also taken post-graduate courses on how to use a fitness-forward, patient-centered approach to rehabilitation of the older adult.
Katie understands that doing PT within the home is immensely meaningful to many patients and is essential to assisting people age in place. She is passionate about using an active approach with people of all ages and abilities to increase independence and function so that patients can reach their goals and live a full life.
In her free time, Katie does CrossFit and loves to get outside with friends and family hiking or biking.
