Katie Pajerowski, physical therapist and owner of Ascend Physical Therapy & Wellness, is passionate about helping people overcome pain and injury in order to find joy in movement and maintain an active life. She has been practicing in orthopedic physical therapy settings since 2014, treating patients with acute and chronic pain, overuse and sports-related injuries, and post-surgery. She believes in bridging the gap between traditional rehab and the ability to move and perform optimally, and in empowering her patients to work towards the goals that are most important to them.
Katie is board-certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, and is certified as a running coach through Road Runners Club of America. She also holds certifications in manual therapy and dry needling. In addition to her own ongoing learning, she is involved in teaching and assisting with continuing education for other physical therapists. As an avid trail runner and rock climber, she is passionate about helping individuals reach their goals in these areas and about sharing her love for strength training. Katie also has 20 years of ballet and modern dance experience, and her PT background includes specialized clinical experience with dancers and performing artists.
