Katie grew up in a rural area in southern Virginia. She graduated undergraduate and physical therapy school from VCU in Richmond, Virginia. Since graduation in 2014, Katie has returned home and is working and giving back to the community who raised her and her family. Katie has recently received her cert-MMOA and also has her Geriatric Clinical Specialty. She lives with her husband and 2 daughters.
