Katelin has been a practicing clinician for 9 years. She received her Bachelor of Science and Health Promotions at Michigan State University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Michigan.
Following graduation, Katelin became specialized in pediatric rehabilitation. Her subspecialties include intervention of torticollis, congenital disorders, concussion, vestibular dysfunction, amputation, prosthetics, post surgical intervention, and return to sport training. While Katelin has a special love for working with infants and children of all ages, it was during these visits and conversations with moms that she saw the extreme need for maternal pre and postpartum care.
Katelin aims to provide optimal care for expecting mothers that want to stay active during their pregnancy and those looking to return to high levels of competitive or recreational fitness following birth. If it’s not right, let’s fix it! She feels that physical therapy is necessary for all expecting mothers; “we pre-hab for surgery, let’s pre-hab for labor and delivery and we can expect better outcomes”. Following delivery, her goal for you is to return to all the activities you love without concessions.
