Jessica Lord

Dr. Jessica Lord has developed a niche specializing in physical therapy for the dance athlete, but also has a passion for working with fitness athletes, back pain, older-adult and chronic pain patients. Jessica graduated with her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree as well as a dance minor from Chapman University. While earning her Doctorate, she gained exposure to rehabilitation in the performing arts by studying with an Australian physiotherapy clinic that services the Queensland Ballet and Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

When her love for the outdoors brought her to Salt Lake City, Utah she began partnering with local dance studios to offer workshops, performance coverage, and injury triage. She has since earned opportunities working with the Chinese Olympic Aerial Ski Team as well as providing treatment for the Velocity Dance Convention tour. In the last several years, Jessica has acquired certifications in dry needling and myofascial decompression, as well as the management of the fitness athlete (CMFA) from the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Her mission is to conservatively manage pain and better fortify all of her patients against injury so they can enjoy their passions for a lifetime. Outside of the clinic, Jessica is often strength training, trail running, mountain biking, or taking dance classes in her spare time.
