JD Freeman earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2019. He then completed an orthopedic residency through the University of Wisconsin where he received advanced training and direct mentorship from expert clinicians in order to further improve his manual therapy skills, clinical reasoning, and knowledge in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. He has a passion for working with young athletes, powerlifters, and active patients across the age spectrum. JD is board certified in orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and certified in Functional Dry Needling Level 1 through EIM. He uses a variety of manual techniques in addition to exercise and progressive loading as part of treatment. JD specializes in working with athletes, active individuals, powerlifters, and TMJ. Outside the clinic, JD enjoys lifting weights, playing sports, playing drums, and spending time with his wife and family.
