Jamie was born and raised in Southern Anne Arundel County Maryland. She became interested in physical therapy as a high school student and went on to pursue a degree in kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Directly after receiving her B.S., she transitioned to pursue her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore.
During physical therapy school, Jamie experienced a wide variety of clinical settings but continued to have a special interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports. Since graduation, she has been working in the outpatient orthopedics field and has a special interest in working with female athletes, post-surgical patients, and pregnancy/postpartum.
Now a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist, Jamie is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and enjoys utilizing this knowledge along with her own training background to enhance patient performance to meet their individual goals. Jamie is certified in dry needling and has taken continuing education focused on pregnancy and postpartum care.
Outside of work Jamie enjoys spending time with her young son, husband and puppy, especially when it involves being outdoors!
