Dekker is a fourth-generation small town Eastern Oregonian where he gained a love for the outdoors and small town charms. He grew up playing almost every sport with his two brothers and spending any free time in the mountains. It was through sport-related injuries and outdoor activities that Dekker gained a desire to help people keep doing what they love through Physical Therapy. He has worked with pediatric through geriatric age ranges and his goal is to get you doing what you love to do!
Dekker received his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University after serving a 2 year Church mission in Central Russia. After BYU, Dekker earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Angelo State University in Texas. Dekker met his wife, Kyra, at BYU and together have 2 children, Merrick and Mazey. Dekker and Kyra are excited to participate and provide service to the community as healthcare professionals. In their spare time, Dekker and his family enjoy anything outdoors; hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and sporting activities. |
