Dr. Wallenstein has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ithaca College, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercy College. He has over a decade of experience in sports medicine, health sciences and human performance. He has worked as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist with athletes of all ages and skill levels from middle school club sports participants to NCAA athletes to centenarians. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association, the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic, Sports and Geriatric sections, and the Academy of Professions for Health Promotion Therapies. He believes strongly in exercise for wellness, longevity and health, and has been certified in the Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Dr. Wallenstein also has experience in industrial, tactical and emergency medicine from time spent working as a Firefighter/EMT and serving in the United States Marine Corps.
