Brenda Miller is the founder and owner of Core Physical Therapy in Blacksburg VA just off campus of Virginia Tech. She is a Pittsburgh native and earned her bachelor of science degree from Pennsylvania State University and her master’s in physical therapy from Arcadia University. Brenda is board certified in orthopedics, lymphedema management, and dry needling. She has over 30 years of experience working in orthopedics and opened Core Physical Therapy in 2017.
Brenda and her staff are committed to learning and continue to take courses from the Institute of Clinical Excellence. At Core, the therapists are able to spend one on one time with patients to fully assess and understand their needs. Brenda has a background in athletics and was a three sport athlete in high school (volleyball, basketball, track) , played D1 basketball at Penn State and played competitive beach doubles volleyball. Brenda enjoys treating a wide patient population including athletes, children, older adults and outdoor enthusiasts.
