Arissa earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. She specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and orthopedics. She is trained to provide internal pelvic assessment/treatment in males and females for a variety of pelvic conditions. She also focuses on functional strengthening and training to empower patients to participate in meaningful activities without limits. Prior to pursuing her physical therapy degree, she was a board-certified music therapist at The Cleveland Clinic. She incorporates aspects of her music therapy career and experience as a certified yoga teacher in her physical therapy approach. She enjoys incorporating these areas to provide holistic and individualized physical therapy. Arissa believes that empathy is a catalyst in sharing the journey with patients to attain their highest goals and live with optimal health. In her free time, Arissa enjoys hiking, yoga, strength training, running, and playing piano and guitar.
