|Alyssa was born and raised in Maryland and grew up competing in gymnastics. Consequently, a career-ending injury during high school led her to transition into coaching gymnastics. She graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2017 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and has worked closely with the artistic athlete throughout her career. She splits her time between PT and coaching gymnastics, and enjoys running and hiking during her free time. She enjoys getting to combine her passions for PT, gymnastics, and movement in order to help her patients get back to doing the things they love.
