Allyson Daugherty

Avila Physical Therapy is an OP private practice specializing in bowel/bladder health, pelvic pain, sexual health/wellness, and pregnancy/postpartum care. The physical therapists are also trained experts in cancer rehab, lymphedema management, and mastectomy fittings.

Allyson Daugherty is a physical therapist with over 25 years of experience in Greenville, NC. She received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA (now Drexel University), and her B.S. in Biology from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. She has a special interest in treating fitness athletes for a variety of concerns including pelvic health. She is a regular guest lecturer in the ECU Dept. of Physical Therapy on these topics. Since 2008, she has her own PT practice in Greenville, NC. She spends her free time playing with plants, reading, travelling, fostering for the Humane Society, and doing CrossFit and yoga for exercise. She lives with her husband and English bulldog.
