About ICE

The Institute of Clinical Excellence (ICE) was founded in 2012 with a vision of helping healthcare providers improve their clinical practice to serve patients with a fitness forward, manual therapy skilled, and psychologically informed style of treatment. We believe that by helping providers better understand the benefits (and limitations) of manual therapy techniques, the biopsychosocial components of the patient experience, and the judicious application of exercise load & intensity, we can fundamentally change the health landscape of our nation.

Our faculty are dedicated to not only being on the cutting edge of current research in our field, but helping you apply it clinically with real life patients in the clinic. ICE is firm in its belief that the role of the rehabilitation provider is to help patients “minimize symptoms to maximize fitness” and that we are the front line in helping reverse the worldwide epidemic of preventable, chronic disease. We are also firm in our belief that leadership happens from the front, not the rear, and we embody that every single weekend by performing a small workout at the end of the day each Saturday afternoon.

No matter what course you attend, you’ll be invited to join the faculty for fitness followed by breaking bread together at dinner after the workout. If you’re looking to dramatically improve your patient outcomes, join a network of like-minded clinicians, and have a fun, fitness filled weekend, ICE is the place for you.
